{"id":8540,"date":"2021-07-26T22:40:40","date_gmt":"2021-07-27T02:40:40","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.delphosmagazine.com\/?p=8540"},"modified":"2021-07-26T22:40:40","modified_gmt":"2021-07-27T02:40:40","slug":"northrop-f-5-tigre-ii-iii-45-anos-resguardando-los-cielos-de-chile","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.delphosmagazine.com\/en\/northrop-f-5-tigre-ii-iii-45-anos-resguardando-los-cielos-de-chile\/","title":{"rendered":"Northrop F-5 Tigre II\/III, 45 a\u00f1os resguardando los cielos de Chile"},"content":{"rendered":"<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">En el a\u00f1o 1976, la Fuerza A\u00e9rea de Chile recibi\u00f3 su primera aeronave supers\u00f3nica, el Northrop F-5E, de los cuales 15 eran monoplaza F-5E y 3 aeronaves de entrenamiento biplaza F-5F.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">El F-5E puede alcanzar velocidades de hasta mach 1.7 (1.875 K\/h), tiene un alcance de 1.405 KM y a una altitud m\u00e1xima de 16.800 metros (55.118 pies)<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Sus primeros 34 a\u00f1os, los F-5 estuvieron en servicio en el Grupo de Aviaci\u00f3n N\u00b0 7, en la Base A\u00e9rea Cerro Moreno en Antofagasta.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">La FACh realiz\u00f3 una modernizaci\u00f3n de la d\u00e9cada de 1990 a los F-5E en las instalaciones de Israel Aerospace Industries, en donde se actualizaron a los F-5E y F-5F, la cual incluyo mejoras en la cabina, radates y sistemas de contramedida, las que contemplaron la instalaci\u00f3n de un radar multimodo Elta EL \/ M-2032B, HUD, bus digital MIL-STD 1553B, dos pantallas multifunci\u00f3n monocrom\u00e1ticas, cabina HOTAS, RWR \/ ECM integrado con chaff \/ bengala y misiles Shafrir y Python III.
