{"id":4511,"date":"2020-05-31T16:01:25","date_gmt":"2020-05-31T19:01:25","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.delphosmagazine.com\/?p=4511"},"modified":"2021-02-14T23:51:28","modified_gmt":"2021-02-15T02:51:28","slug":"volga-dnepr-demanda-a-boeing-por-no-entrega-de-cuatro-747-8-freighter","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.delphosmagazine.com\/en\/volga-dnepr-demanda-a-boeing-por-no-entrega-de-cuatro-747-8-freighter\/","title":{"rendered":"Volga-Dnepr demanda a Boeing por no entrega de cuatro 747-8 Freighter"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>De acuerdo a informaci\u00f3n proporcionada por el peri\u00f3dico <em>The Seattle Times<\/em>, Volga-Dnepr Airlines, presento esta semana, una demanda contra Boeing Co., por el presunto no cumplimiento de un acuerdo de compra de cuatro Boeing 747-8 Freighter avaluado en 600 millones de d\u00f3lares, para su filial AirBridgeCargo.<\/p>\n<p>Efectivamente, Volga-Dnepr hab\u00eda realizado el pedido de estas aeronaves, pero el 17 de enero de este a\u00f1o (2020), antes del covid19, la empresa rusa, firm\u00f3 un acuerdo con Boeing donde hab\u00eda pospuesto la recepci\u00f3n de dichas aeronaves en forma indefinida, debido a la fuerte ca\u00edda del transporte de carga que exist\u00eda en aquel momento. Por lo tanto, Boeing, retiro de la lista de clientes dichas aeronaves y decidi\u00f3 entreg\u00e1rselas a United Parcel Service (UPS), la cual tenia un pedido por trece unidades.<\/p>\n<p>Pero ocurri\u00f3 algo que nadie esperaba, producto de la pandemia del coronavirus, se registro una fuerte reactivaci\u00f3n del mercado de carga, lo que revirti\u00f3 la condici\u00f3n de ca\u00edda e hizo nuevamente rentable el transporte de carga a\u00e9rea. Debido a esto Volga-Dnepr reconsider\u00f3 su decisi\u00f3n de posponer las entregas, sin embargo, ya era muy tarde, Boeing ya hab\u00eda comprometido los aviones a UPS.<\/p>\n<p>Debido a lo anterior es que Volga-Denpr Airlines presento la demanda contra Boeing, por no entregarles los cuatro Boeing 747-8 Freighter, que en un principio hab\u00eda pospuesto su recepci\u00f3n.<\/p>\n<p>Cabe recordar que Volga-Dnepr Airlines, con su filial AirBridgeCargo, es uno de los dos \u00fanicos clientes que a\u00fan tiene Boeing, para el Boeing 747-8.
