El grupo Cathay de Hong Kong ha realizado un pedido en firme a Airbus por 30 aviones de fuselaje ancho A330-900. El pedido se produce tras una evaluaci\u00f3n exhaustiva realizada por la aerol\u00ednea en el marco de su programa de renovaci\u00f3n de flota de aviones de fuselaje ancho de tama\u00f1o medio.<\/p>\n

El nuevo avi\u00f3n permitir\u00e1 a Cathay modernizar su flota de A330-300 de la generaci\u00f3n anterior y ampliar sus operaciones en rutas regionales de alta capacidad. El avi\u00f3n tambi\u00e9n ofrecer\u00e1 flexibilidad para cubrir destinos de mayor alcance. Al igual que todos los aviones A330neo, la flota estar\u00e1 equipada con motores Rolls-Royce Trent 7000 de \u00faltima generaci\u00f3n.<\/p>\n
