Si bien el sistema est\u00e1 dise\u00f1ado para las plataformas host MH-60R y MR-60S, para esta prueba solo se utiliz\u00f3 el MH-60R.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">\u00abEl sistema AOEW es uno de los sistemas de guerra electr\u00f3nica m\u00e1s avanzados y complejos jam\u00e1s desarrollados\u00bb, dijo Deon Viergutz, vicepresidente de Convergencia de Espectro de Lockheed Martin. \u201cAOEW es un multiplicador de fuerza para nuestros marineros que les ayudar\u00e1 a dominar y controlar el espacio de batalla sin disparar un solo tiro. Est\u00e1 dise\u00f1ado con capacidades evolutivas, configurado para ser completamente programable para que pueda desarrollar, entregar e implementar nuevas t\u00e9cnicas a medida que cambia el panorama de amenazas\u201d.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">AOEW es un sistema de defensa antimisiles de guerra electr\u00f3nica basado en c\u00e1psulas que proporcionar\u00e1 a la Marina de los EE. UU. capacidades mejoradas de vigilancia electr\u00f3nica y ataque contra amenazas de misiles antibuque. Hasta la fecha, el sistema ha superado con \u00e9xito una serie de pruebas operativas y de desarrollo incrementales en las instalaciones de Lockheed Martin en Syracuse, Nueva York.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">AOEW se puede integrar completamente con Aegis Baseline 9C.2+ y el Programa de mejora de guerra electr\u00f3nica Surface Warfare Block II.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">El sistema puede funcionar de forma independiente o con otros sistemas a bordo de barcos y otros activos.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">AOEW aprovecha soluciones de arquitectura de sistemas abiertos, lo que permite actualizaciones r\u00e1pidas, interoperabilidad, costos de ciclo de vida reducidos y una r\u00e1pida inserci\u00f3n de nuevo hardware.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">La arquitectura y las tecnolog\u00edas de AOEW sientan las bases para ofrecer capacidades similares en otros activos, como barcos peque\u00f1os o veh\u00edculos a\u00e9reos y de superficie no tripulados.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Se planean m\u00e1s pruebas y demostraciones del m\u00f3dulo AOEW en plataformas host para 2024. El equipo utilizar\u00e1 los resultados para continuar perfeccionando el rendimiento del sistema.
