{"id":12998,"date":"2023-02-01T09:00:38","date_gmt":"2023-02-01T13:00:38","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.delphosmagazine.com\/?p=12998"},"modified":"2023-01-31T22:53:07","modified_gmt":"2023-02-01T02:53:07","slug":"entrega-del-ultimo-boeing-747-el-fin-de-una-era","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.delphosmagazine.com\/en\/entrega-del-ultimo-boeing-747-el-fin-de-una-era\/","title":{"rendered":"Entrega del \u00faltimo Boeing 747, el fin de una era"},"content":{"rendered":"<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">El martes 31 de enero de 2023, en una ceremonia realizada la F\u00e1brica de Boeing ubicada en aeropuerto de Paine Field en Everett, Washington, Estados Unidos, Boeing hizo entrega del \u00faltimo de los Boeing 747 construido, se trata del modelo Boeing 747-8F, el m\u00e1s grande y moderno de las variantes que tuvo el 747 a lo largo sus 55 a\u00f1os de producci\u00f3n.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">La producci\u00f3n del Boeing 747 apodado como \u201cJumbo Jet\u201d comenz\u00f3 en 1967, en la f\u00e1brica de Boeing ubicada en Everett, donde Boeing construyo el edificio m\u00e1s grande en volumen de ocupaci\u00f3n de todo el mundo, para poder construir a este gigante de los cielos.\u00a0 El proyecto del Boeing 747 requiri\u00f3 de unos 50.000 mec\u00e1nicos, ingenieros y administrativos participaron durante 28 meses.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Cabe destacar que, en un comienzo, el dise\u00f1o del 747 no era para uso civil, sino que era para uso militar de transporte, ya que, en los a\u00f1os 60, la USAF buscaba un reemplazo de los C-141 Starlifter.\u00a0 Boeing participo en la propuesta con el dise\u00f1o del 747, pero la ganadora fue Lockheed Martin con el C-5 Galaxy.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Posterior a esto, debido al aumento de los viajes a\u00e9reos, y a las presiones de las aerol\u00edneas, en especial de PAN AM, Boeing reactivo el proyecto, tomando como base lo aprendido en la propuesta militar, realizando una versi\u00f3n civil.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">El 30 de septiembre de 1968, el primer 747 sali\u00f3 del edificio de ensamblaje en la planta de Everett donde fue presentado a la prensa y donde participaron 26 tripulantes de cabina que representaban a las 26 aerol\u00edneas que encargaron el avi\u00f3n.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">El \u00abJumbo Jet\u00bb como se le denomino, debido a su gran capacidad de pasajeros, logr\u00f3 bajar el costo de los pasajes a\u00e9reos, lo que permiti\u00f3 que m\u00e1s personas pudieran viajar en avi\u00f3n.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">El primer 747 despeg\u00f3 por primera vez, el 9 de febrero del a\u00f1o 1969.\u00a0 Su primer operador fue Pan American Airways, realizando su primer vuelo comercial el 22 de enero de 1970 entre Nueva York y Londres. El primer vuelo comercial fue realizado en mayo del 2012 y el \u00faltimo 747-8 fue entregado a Korean Airlines el 2017.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Cabe mencionar el porqu\u00e9 de la denominaci\u00f3n -8, y es porque este modelo de avi\u00f3n estaba orientado al mercado asi\u00e1tico, en donde el numero 8 tiene un significado de grandeza, misma raz\u00f3n, de la se\u00f1alados, se han creado varias sub variantes, con tareas espec\u00edficas, los m\u00e1s reconocidos son:<\/p>\n<ul style=\"text-align: justify;\">\n<li>Dos 747-100 (un ex American y otro ex Japan Airlines) que fueron modificados en la d\u00e9cada de los 70 para llevar al trasbordador espacial.<\/li>\n<li>El famoso \u201cAir Force One\u201d el avi\u00f3n presidencial de los Estados Unidos, es un Boeing 747-200 modificado.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<figure id=\"attachment_13005\" aria-describedby=\"caption-attachment-13005\" style=\"width: 1200px\" class=\"wp-caption aligncenter\"><img queda de manifiesto ya que en todas sus versiones fueron construidos versiones de carga y adem\u00e1s muchos de los 747 de pasajeros fueron convertidos a cargueros.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">En Chile opero un Boeing 747-100 (ex Air Lingus) para Lan Chile en la temporada de verano del 1988 1989.\u00a0 A dem\u00e1s de ese breve paso por Lan Chile, pudimos ver las versiones desde el 747-100 al 747-400ER de pasajeros en Aerol\u00edneas como PAN AM, Air France, British Airways, Iberia, Alitalia, Braniff International, Lufthansa, KLM y Qantas, hasta el 28 de marzo del 2020, cuando Qantas retiro sus \u00faltimos 747-400.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">En cuanto a su versi\u00f3n de carga, son muchos los operadores de carga que han tra\u00eddo sus 747 cargueros a Chile, como Cargolux, Atlas Air Cargo, KLM Cargo, Air France Cargo, Polar Cargo, entre otros, y es por esta raz\u00f3n que continuaremos viendo sus versiones cargueras del 747 por muchos a\u00f1os m\u00e1s.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Lamentablemente para los modelos m\u00e1s antiguos del 747, el factor econ\u00f3mico, la aparici\u00f3n de nuevas aeronaves m\u00e1s eficientes en cuanto al consumo de combustible y m\u00e1s amigables con el medio ambiente, han llevado a que estos cuadrimotores lleguen al fin de su vida \u00fatil, ya que son reemplazados por aviones m\u00e1s eficiente y de igual capacidad como el Boeing 777-200F y la conversi\u00f3n a carga del 777-300, el cual puede llevar la misma carga que un 747-400 pero a un menor costo.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Este martes 31 de enero del 2023, se cerr\u00f3 un cap\u00edtulo en la aviaci\u00f3n mundial, con la entrega del \u00faltimo Boeing 747 construido a su operador Atlas Air, pero esta entrega no significa el fin del 747 ya que lo tendremos, por lo menos unos 20 a\u00f1os m\u00e1s, surcando los cielos moviendo al mundo con su carga.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\"
